Don't be put off by the Man-And-His-Dog cover art! I'm no music critic, but I love these songs. Accoustic sounds and lyrics that resonate in your brain. To me Dennis is a northern version of Scott Kirby or maybe even Jimmy Buffet. I particulary like "Heart's Desire" - a sweet sailing song, Homegrown Tomatoes - lite and funny with a little kick, "Don't Be Afraid" - touching father/son lyrics with cool mandolin picking.

I saw Dennis play at the Chautaqua in Boulder last year.
Outstanding show. This CD is one of my favorites. "Heart's Desire" brings
back fond memories of sailing off the Florida Keys. Outstanding album!
