There's swimming, dinghy boat rides to the shore of different islands and incredible sunsets and sunrises!
And I can't say enough about the food. I don't eat a lot of meat, and Chef Miller accomodated me and the other veggie leaning guests with great entrees. The carivores had no complaints, either. He covered all the bases with an A+ rating from all. Check out the TRIP ADVISOR reviews!

Alcohol is allowed, but you need to bring it.
Beer, wine, whatever. There's not a cash bar or anything like that. The VC provides water, coffee
and tea. And desserts. Oh, my. There's even a
"pre breakfast" on deck for early risers,
with fresh scones
and muffins around 7am.
Breakfast is then served at 8am
and it's not to be missed.

During this week of August, the Perseid Meteor Shower will be taking place. There's no guarantee of seeing any shooting stars, but it's our best opportunity of the year if the clouds clear out. On a great night, several hundred are possible per hour.
And we'll be on a sailboat off the Maine coast, away from city lights. The odds of seeing some are greatly increased just with that reality!

Plus, I'll be performing for you and the other
guests in a private, intimate concert. Three
nights, three different one hour shows. If you
have a favorite DW song, let me know!
It's informal, as if you were in my living room.
AND it's my birthday that week! I can't think of a better way to celebrate than with you and other like minded, nature loving, adventure seeking friends. Life goes fast, as we're reminded every day. |
Are you interested? Call them. 800.745.5651 .Check out their website. Mention you heard about it from your pal Dennis. As you can imagine, there are not a lot of sleeping berth options, so seriously, if you want to do this, don't dawdle. The people who reserve first have first dibs on the bigger bedrooms. But the smaller ones are fine, too. Don't fret if the bigger rooms are all gone by the time you reserve.
It's about the experience.
Cost: Basic rooms with all the great food for the five night cruise: $1,035 per person.

I truly hope you'll consider it. If it's not your thing
(you prefer your bath towels folded into animal and bird images like on the big cruise ships) that's cool. Feel free to forward this to anyone you think
would appreciate this experience.
If you have questions, email me. As you can tell
from this writing, I'll be upfront about the
experience and what you can expect.
Thank you and let's go sailing together!
